Cameo's virtual medical scribes work directly with US physicians to capture patient encounters and document clinical information in real time, so physicians spend less time documenting and more time focused on patient care.
Our scribes understand medical terminology, clinical workflows and physician documentation requirements.
Notes are built during the encounter, not reconstructed afterwards.
Trained on medical terminology, clinical workflow and specialty conventions.
Clear spoken and written English, tested during selection and training.
Working knowledge of Epic, athenahealth, eClinicalWorks and Cerner environments.
A named operations contact responsible for coverage, escalation and quality.
An IT team maintaining connectivity and workflow continuity throughout the engagement.
Yes. The scribe connects through a secure remote platform and documents the encounter as it happens, following the physician's direction. The note is available for review and sign-off at the end of the visit rather than at the end of the day.
We assign dedicated scribes to physicians wherever coverage allows, because familiarity with a clinician's phrasing and preferences is what makes the note usable. Backup scribes are trained on the same templates for continuity.
Teams are rostered to your clinic hours, with a dedicated IT function maintaining connectivity for the duration of the session and a named operations contact for any escalation.
The physician. Our scribes prepare documentation under physician direction; the clinician reviews and signs. We do not make clinical judgements.
